Responsibilities

Your day-to-day (as a Spiceworks Account Executive, you’ll):

  • Hunt down and discover new business opportunities within named accounts
  • Expand relationships with current clients and forecast CRM info
  • Work with marketing on best way to approach accounts
  • Partner with internal teams to develop and execute media/research campaigns
  • Spread a wide net across strategic clients
  • Go beyond the chase to cultivate prospects into paying clients
  • Oversee client success and renewal revenue
  • Travel as necessary

Qualifications

What does it take to do this job?

  • 5-7+ years of experience in digital advertising (research and content) sales —specifically innovative ad-tech solutions
  • Media/Research/Content sales experience is a plus
  • Experience selling to Marketers and C-Level executives
  • Established network of relevant industry/agency contacts
  • Experience successfully executing complex sales cycles
  • Strategic, sophisticated deal planning and negotiation
  • Track record of meeting and exceeding quota expectations
  • Innate drive to be successful
  • Strong analytical, organizational, and collaborative team player sensibilities
  • High level of energy and communication
  • Salesforce, PowerPoint and Excel experience a plus
  • Bachelor’s degree
