Your day-to-day (as a PR Associate, you’ll):

  • Find creative ways to tell stories for one of the most unique tech companies around
  • Work with PR Specialist, marketing team, and company executives to formulate and implement the company’s PR and social strategy
  • Drive day-to-day execution of Spiceworks’ global social media strategies. This includes the execution of our organic and paid social strategies, content creation and distribution, and proactive/reactive social coordination
  • Leverage Spiceworks’ unique insights to tell data-driven stories about the latest technology and marketing trends
  • Work directly with Spiceworks executives to support their external platforms and execute thought leadership opportunities such as bylines, blog posts, and speaking opportunities
  • Manage IT product announcements
  • Leverage PR agency partners to drive communications results
  • Foster, maintain, and grow key press relationships


Qualifications: What does it take to do this job?

  • 3–5 years of experience leading integrated social media and PR programs
  • Proven track record of inventing new and creative ways of telling stories
  • Well-versed in the evolving industry trends impacting and occurring in the technology and marketing worlds. Ability to understand how Spiceworks fits into or relates to those trends.
  • Experience working with established, high-growth companies
  • Excellent writing, editing, and presentation skills
  • Team management skills, including working at or experience managing PR agencies
  • Established relationships with technology media and influencers
  • Bachelor’s degree in PR, Communications, Journalism, or related field
