Responsibilities

Your day-to-day (as a Front End Developer, you’ll):

  • Focus on development of interactive content and landing pages
  • Work with designers and copywriters to create end user workflows and interactive experiences
  • Contribute to the innovation and evolution of Spiceworks Brand and Marketing
  • Promote design consistency and other UI standards across all marketing projects
  • Work directly with our growing community of millions IT pros and the tech marketers that talk to them
  • Manage multiple projects simultaneously (amid break-neck speeds!)
  • Handle a variety of colorful (and oftentimes demanding) client personalities… so a bit of wit and irreverence won’t hurt!
  • Interface with internal clients—and personalities—from all departments in the company

Qualifications

Qualifications: What does it take to do this job?

  • Expertise in JavaScript, CSS, and HTML
  • Familiarity with responsive design and backend technologies
  • Expertise with WordPress including building custom functionality and themes
  • Proficiency with Adobe Creative Suite and other industry software packages
  • Out-of-this-world project management and communication skills
  • A strong work ethic (“9 to 5” is just a Dolly Parton song to you)
  • You can think on your feet and adapt well to a quickly changing environment

The Front End Developer will report to Creative Services Manager
