Spiceworks just might have a position for you! We’re looking for a Community Brand Rep to help tech marketers connect with their targeted audience. Top tech vendors join the Spiceworks Community to reach our millions of IT pros – and they need your help!     What you’ll do: As a top-notch Community Brand Rep, you’ll make it your mission to help some of the 3000 tech vendors by representing them on the Spiceworks Community. How? Just like vendors have a designated person to manage their social media accounts, they also need a guide to oversee their Spiceworks community presence. You’ll be their public face in the Spiceworks Community as you help manage their vendor and product pages and respond to inquiries and mentions. Oh, and you’ll have a blast every step of the way!

    Your day-to-day (as a Community Brand Representative, you'll):

    • Monitor vendor and product pages with an eagle’s eye
    • Respond to product and company inquiries
    • Field tech or customer service issues
    • Represent the company brand and voice – we’re pretty awesome, so you should be too!
    • Initiate talks about the brand's industry
    • Share news, blog posts, technical documentation and contests
    • Build relationships with brand ambassadors and fans
    • Report on community activity


    What does it take to do this job?  

    • 6 months experience in social media management
    • Excellent written communication skills – friends and family turn to you for writing help! 
    • A level-head and sound judgment (but a fun-loving side doesn’t hurt)
    • Eager participation in online forums, communities, and social media – you live for this stuff
    • You’re a bit of a tech nerd (no offense) with a general understanding of the IT field
    • Passion to excel, creative-nature, and sense of ownership
