    Responsibilities

    Your day-to-day (as a Senior Payroll Administrator, you’ll):

    • Manage and guarantee semi-monthly processing of multi-state payroll including garnishments, benefits, and taxes consistent with federal and state wage and hour laws
    • Coordinate monthly processing of UK payroll via third party accounting firm
    • Ensure the processing of new hires, temporary workers, transfers, promotions, and terminations is accurate and timely
    • Critically review and analyze current payroll procedures in order to recommend and implement changes leading to best-practice operations
    • Communicate actively with all departments to review cross-departmental impacts and reconcile data sharing
    • Partner with HR and benefits in aligning our payroll, benefits, and onboarding systems
    • Ensure systems are set up and updated to reflect our current employee base including wages, benefits, etc.
    • Coordinate annual W-2 preparation, reconciliation, and distribution
    • Respond to auditing/regulator inquiries as it relates to payroll audit and compliance, providing information/documentation for audit requests
    • Respond to internal reporting requests by department heads and FP&A team
    • May be assigned to perform other duties as needed

    Qualifications

    What does it take to do this job?

    • 3+ years of direct payroll experience using ADP platforms (ADP Workforce Now a plus)
    • Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information appropriately
    • Proven ability to meet deadlines and work under pressure
    • Must be a team player, detail oriented and organized with the ability to multi task
    • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
    • Strong interpersonal skills with a focus on customer service
    • Understand employee payroll issues, possess strong problem-solving skills, and communicate solutions effectively, professionally, and respectfully
    • Proven ability to work independently (self-starter)
    • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Word
