    As a Market Strategist at Spiceworks, you’ll leverage your expertise and our best-in-class solutions to establish and grow large, long-term partnerships with our top clients and our emerging accounts with the greatest opportunity for growth. You’ll partner with sales, client success and delivery teams to bring the best possible campaign strategies to your set of accounts and foster growth. You’ll be at the nexus of a group of accounts’ highest potential within and outside of Spiceworks.

    Responsibilities

    What Your Day-to-Day Looks Like:

    • Interact with key clients to proactively address needs; provide thought leadership and solve business problems that drive satisfaction
    • Learn and understand business requirements of target accounts and build strategic platforms accordingly
    • Develop strategic game plans to grow clients over the long-term and achieve revenue goals in the process
    • Create and implement customized digital plans and solutions based on clients’ business problems and/or initiatives
    • A deep understanding of data and how we utilize it to enhance relationships
    • Be a thought-leader acutely plugged in to the digital space and seeking constant ways to leverage the platforms available to you to enable your clients
    • Help build and communicate strategic recommendations with coherent and creative presentations
    • Build trust and gain confidence between the client and yourself through insightful presentation and in-person interactions
    • Always-on and thinking of ways to grow the account and deliver value
    • Working cross-departmentally to bring your strategic recommendations to light and ensure the client’s perceived value is being realized

    Qualifications

    What does it take to do this job?

    • 5+ years’ experience in marketing/communications or planning, publisher or agency a plus
    • Account Planning or Digital Strategy experience is a plus
    • Track record of driving real results through creative planning and program implementation
    • You’re hungry to get in front of a client and show your expertise and prowess
    • Knowledge of interactive, CRM, web analytics and other technologies enabling today’s savvy marketer
    • Experience reading and interpreting data intelligence at a high-level to inform decision making or recommendations
    • Ability to showcase expertise of digital properties and how they can enable technology organizations looking to go-to-market
    • Displayed ability to understand complex needs from the client and translate them into actionable programs
    • Creative-thinker constantly looking for ways to problem solve—even if the answer isn’t obvious
    • Willing and able to contribute directly to team efforts and results
    • Highly motivated with experience in building client relationships and expansion of accounts
    • Interest in and aptitude for creative business and marketing solutions
    • Ability to identify strategic needs, lead all aspects of planning with sound business recommendations, and generate alignment with key business partners
    • Excellent presentation skills that encompass clear, compelling communications
    • Experience navigating large and complex organizations, including gaining access to key executives and stakeholders and successfully managing relationship building dynamics and processes
    • Ability to self-manage multiple business initiatives in an entrepreneurial environment, as well as managing team-assigned projects
    • Expert knowledge of all product solutions and capabilities
