We’re looking for a Research Associate to join the Spiceworks Research & Analytics team – an exciting position where you’ll support all phases of custom quantitative and qualitative research from design through to delivery.

    Your day-to-day (as a Research Associate, you’ll):

    Assist the Spiceworks research team in executing qualitative and quantitative market research studies for Spiceworks customers, including:

    • Conducting secondary research, support discussion guide and survey design
    • Coordinating with vendors on project setup and bid requests
    • Coordinating with internal teams on project setup & testing
    • Testing online surveys for quality assurance
    • Drafting tab plans/data processing specifications
    • Monitoring data collection
    • Coordinating online focus groups and in-depth interviews
    • Managing materials for focus groups and in-depth interviews
    • Developing research reports
    • Working hard, having fun, staying calm, and getting stuff done in an ultra fast-paced environment



    Qualifications: What does it take to do this job?

    • 2-4 years’ experience in market research — preferably tech and B2B related
    • Experience with both qualitative and quantitative research a huge plus
    • Basic understanding of statistics and market research methodologies
    • An interest in technology and IT
    • Strong project management skills — you can multi-task and complete complex projects flawlessly and under tight deadlines
    • Outstanding verbal and written communication skills
    • Inherent curiosity, critical thinking, and a passion for data-driven decisions
    • Proven ability to work in a fast-paced environment
    • Proficiency in MS Excel, Word, PowerPoint

    This position reports to the Manager of Research.
