    Your day-to-day (as a BI Analyst, you’ll):

    • 3+ years of working experience as an analyst or in Business Intelligence
    • Interpret data, analyze results using statistical techniques, and provide ongoing reports
    • Work closely with management to prioritize business and information needs
    • Draw out key business insights and provide actionable recommendations
    • Develop graphs/dashboards/metrics from raw data
    • Craft compelling (but easily understood) stories and presentations to help make decisions

    What does it take to do this job?

    • Strong analytical skills with the ability to collect, organize, analyze, and disseminate significant amounts of information with attention to detail and accuracy
    • Comfortable working with large and complex data sets
    • Ability to write complex SQL queries across multiple tables and databases
    • Strong background with Relational Databases, preferably Postgres
    • Proficient in Data Analysis Tools and Report Development (Tableau, Microstrategy, Cognos, or similar), utilizing those tools and Excel and PowerPoint to report findings
    • Knowledge of statistics and experience using statistical packages for analyzing large datasets (R, SPSS, SAS etc.)
    • Strong written and oral communication skills — you are comfortable presenting your analysis and recommendations
    • Intellectual curiosity and the ability to proactively turn that curiosity into action
    • Excellent time management and organizational ability
    • Experience with BigQuery is a plus
    • Desire to learn, be challenged, and teach others
    • BS in Finance, Economics, Computer Science, Information Management or Statistics
